Don S. Buchanan, 67, passed away peacefully December 23, 2020 at home with his family, after fighting a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Bangor June 28, 1953 the son of George E. and Carol J. (Bubar) Buchanan. Don grew up in Eddington and attended Brewer High School.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Carol; are his siblings, Kathryn Jovanelli and husband Chris; Lynn Howard and husband John; his children, Jason Buchanan, Jared Buchanan and Christopher Knox; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and grandparents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Sheila Pascual, Angela Coleman-Danboise, R.N., the Lafayette Center, and Dr. Callaghan Gillis for their care of Don.
There will be a celebration of Don’s life next summer.
