DONALD E. ARSENAULT
HAMPDEN
Donald E. Arsenault passed away unexpectedly while in the comfort of his residence in Hampden, ME on August 9th, 2022. He was born in Bangor, ME on February 27th, 1969.
Donald graduated from Hampden Academy in 1987, where he participated and excelled in 4 years of varsity basketball. He enjoyed watching a good game of basketball with a special preference towards his Boston Celtics. He also took pleasure in participating in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, or even simply short walks within the neighborhood. He enjoyed listening to the Rock’n Roll sounds of the 1970’s and 1980’s. He was especially proud of his “BOYS”, namely his sons Donald and Cameron. He often took solace in recollecting memories from family events and/or adventures such as one unanticipated overnight stay on the banks of Sunkhaze Stream while chasing the elusive brook trout with his oldest brother, Gene.
Surviving family members include his father, Eugene L. Arsenault and his close friend and companion, Francis Bowen of Hampden; his oldest son, Donald Arsenault II and his wife, Molly of Hermon; his son, Cameron Arsenault and his wife, Marta of Hampden; his oldest brother, Eugene Arsenault II and his wife, Jacquelyn of Embden; his brother, Mark Arsenault and his wife, Tracey of Stocton Springs; his sister, Lynne Veinote and her husband, David Veinote of Hampden; as well as several nieces and nephews.
