OCEAN PARK and BANGOR – Doris Pauline (Eckert) Clement, 88, died unexpectedly December 13, 2021. She was born March 21, 1933 in Bangor, daughter of John F. “Pete” and Bertha M. (Bradford) Eckert.
Doris graduated from Bangor High School, class of 1951. She worked in retail in Bangor and Portland. Doris married Eugene Clement July 17, 1953 and together they raised six children. She loved reading, traveling and meeting new people.
Surviving are daughter, Patty Clement and partner, Gordon Brasslett of Glenburn, son, John Clement and his wife, Kathi of Simpsonville, SC and son, Kevin Clement of Guilford, NH; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Ruby and Wilma; special family, the Langevins and Cindy Green and her special friends from the Pines. In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by three sons, Paul, Jeffrey and Kelly Clement; siblings, Helen, Blanche, “Carmie”, Donald, David and Philip.
