Dorothy Norwood

Orrington - Dorothy B. Norwood, 88, wife of 67 years to the late Floyd Norwood, passed away December 2, 2015. She was born November 30, 1927, in Bangor, the daughter of Ira and Mary (Brown) Beal. Dorothy loved going to their camp on Toddy Pond. She attended the Forest Ave Congregational Church from the time she was a child. In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was predeceased by a grandson Sean M. Phillips and great granddaughter, Stephanie Phillips. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Norwood, of Orrington and Patsy Harger and her husband, Jack, of Wheatridge, CO; grandson, Brian A. Phillips of CO; three great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 12:00pm Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Marston Cemetery, Snows Corner Road, Orrington with the Rev. Grace Bartlett, officiating.
