Douglas Jay Reed, 55, passed away unexpectedly on August 17th, 2022, at his home in Milford. He was born October 28th, 1966, in Lincoln, the son of Robert C Reed Sr and Brenda J Kinney.
Doug was a man of many skills. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. One of his favorite spots to visit was Flat Iron Pond. Doug was also a talented cook and enjoyed making his beer can chicken on the grill. A loving family man, he married his wife, Deborah, in 1992 and they enjoyed 30 years together. He was a wonderful husband, dad, step-dad, and grandpa.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Deborah Reed, are father, Robert C Reed Sr and his wife, Helen, mother, Brenda J Kinney; son, Christopher; grandson, Michael; brothers; Robert and his wife, Carrie, Troy and his wife, Sue and nieces Katlyn and Rylee, Step children, Jacqueline and Frank, grandmother, Myrtle Reed and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, 11 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Cote. He was loved by all his family and friends. He is predeceased by his younger brother, Brian Reed, nephew, Brandon Reed, Step father, Maurice Kinney and Mother in law, Jacqueline Berry.
