Duane August Miller, 75, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2020, at his residences. He was born June 14, 1945, in Norwalk, CT the son of Duane A. Miller Sr. and Dorothy Ann (Tavello) Miller.
Duane honorably served his country in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing with his brother and later with his son on Rainbow Lake. There are many cherished memories of the family going camping together over the years. Duane loved animals and in his lifetime he rescued many dogs and cats and believed that stray animals needed the most help.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Kim (Adams) Miller; devoted children, Haley and Dakota Miller all of Bangor; a brother Daryl Miller and niece Tatum Miller of Norwalk, CT., several nieces and nephews, many cats, and his loyal dog Ella Mae.
