Edward A. Hincks Sr, 96, passed away April 5th, 2022. He was born March 27th, 1926, in Orrington, the son of Harry and Julia (Allison) Hincks.
Edward served in WWII in the United States Navy. After the war, he was a mechanic most of his life until he retired. He took care of his wife until she passed in 1999. Betty was the love of his life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors on his Kubota and cutting up wood. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children; Doreen Fullers, of Quincey, MA; Gloria and her husband, Russell Blenkhorn, of Veronia Island; Brenda Bubar, of Orrington; Pamela Dechaine, of Brewer; Valerie Hincks and Clement Adams, of Brewer; Daisy and her husband, Russell Wilson, of Brewer; Lisa Henderson of Bangor; and his son; Edward A. Hincks Jr of Brewer; his siblings; Vincent Hincks, William Hincks, Gale Hincks, Alfred Hincks and his sister, Lucy Hincks-Carter-Beatham; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by his daughters; Toni M. Hincks and Baby Girl Hincks; his great-grandson, Isaac A. Miller.
