VEAZIE – Edward P. Thibodeau, 89, husband of Hilda (Burton) Thibodeau, passed away December 14, 2015 at a Bangor Hospital. He was born September 8, 1926 in Old Town, ME, the son of Paul and Gladys (Gagnon) Thibodeau.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, Edward is survived by his son, Michael Edward Thibodeau and his wife, Vicki; his daughter, Pamela O’Connor and her husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Christopher Paul Thibodeau and his wife, Jessica and Jeffrey Alan Thibodeau; one great-grandson, Zachary Thibodeau.
A devoted father and family man, Edward also served during WWII with the 184th Regiment as a Tech Sargent and during the Korean War as an Intelligence Specialist. He was a lifetime member of both The American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. Edward was also a Master Plumbing Inspector for the State of Maine. He will be sorely missed for his wit, his innumerable tales of his childhood, and for his charming way of delivering both.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, December 17, 2015 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York Street, Bangor.
