MILFORD - Eileen Louise Hillman, 80, died peacefully at home on January 1, 2023. She was born September 12, 1942, in Rockland, Maine, the daughter of Carroll and Bertha (Cunningham) Gray.
Eileen was a graduate of Bucksport High School and a registered medical secretary. She was employed by Internal Medical Associates for 27 years, retiring in 2004. She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, attending book club, and visiting with family and friends during her retirement. She was a member of the Old Town Methodist Church, loved to laugh, and treasured hearing others laugh.
Eileen is survived by her loving husband, Donald; sons, Bill and Chris Wallace; stepson, Donald Hillman Jr.; and grandchildren, Christina, Caroline, and JoHannah Veinot, Spencer Wallace, and Cody Hillman. She also leaves behind dear friends, Linda and Aubrey Ayer, Emily and Roland Conory, Alvin and Maureen Spinney, James and Patti Bouvier, and Brenda Wickware. In addition to her parents, Eileen was predeceased by her stepfather, Sidney Ripley; daughter, Wendy Veinot; and stepdaughter, Lisa Rice.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 S Main St., Brewer. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the Family Reception Rooms, immediately following the service.
