Elinor G. Gott Strout, 75, passed away unexpectedly August 24, 2019. She was born in Presque Isle January 1, 1944 the oldest child of Albion and Mildred (McEachern) Richardson.
Elinor was employed at several restaurants including the Third St. Diner, Post Office Lunch, Nathaniels, Olsons and Michalines.
She was predeceased by her first husband Neal Gott and second husband John Strout, a son Larry Richardson, two sisters Joyce Smith and Diane Page a brother Douglas Richardson.
Surviving are a son Stephen Gott and his wife Mary; special grandson Thomas Fay, special granddaughter Maegan Moulton and her husband Tony including other grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers Walter, Wallace and Glen Richardson; one sister Judy Stevens; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 5 pm. Thursday September 5, 2019 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Interment will be in Dean Hill Cemetery, Orrington.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor, following the service.
