Elizabeth “Betty” (Lovely) Noyes, 91, passed away May 3, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born in New Limerick, Maine, April 11, 1929 the daughter of Ralph A. and Betsy L. (Brown) Lovely.
Betty was a gentle and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted wife and business partner to her husband, Larry, working side by side building their successful business, Noyes Residential and Commercial Building Company. Betty had an eye for decorating and was a wonderful cook.
She will be greatly missed by her family.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Lawrence “Larry” Noyes of Brewer; two sons, Robert Noyes and his wife, Nancy of Glenburn; David Noyes and his wife, Juelet of Dallas, TX; a daughter, Debra O’Donnell and her husband, Craig of Miami Beach, FL.; grandchildren, Bryant and Heidi Noyes, Seth Noyes, Larry and Vicky Noyes, Meghan and Brian Mossey and Casey and Lauren O’Donnell; nine great grandchildren; siblings, Evelyn Applebee, Maxine Lovely and Ralph and Cynthia Lovely; many wonderful nieces and nephews; her adorable canine companion, Libby.
Betty was predeceased by her parents, and three brothers, Robert, William and Lawrence Lovely.
The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Northern Light Hospice and their staff and to her wonderful caregivers, Sara King and Tess Morrison who made Betty’s final days comfortable.
Services will be private.
