Elizabeth Russell

Bangor- Elizabeth M. Cronin Russell, 85, died May 31, 2022. She was born February 20, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of Edwin and Muriel Cronin.

Elizabeth was a lifetime member of St. John’s Catholic Church. Everyone was welcome at her house, and her kitchen was always full of friends drinking coffee and spending time together.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John E. Russell and a son, Dana J. Russell.
Elizabeth is survived by a son, Thomas J. Russell and his wife, Susan of Orrington; grandsons, Ryan E. Russell and his wife, Whitney, of Orlando, FL and Matthew T. Russell and his wife, Lyndsey, of Orrington; great grandchildren, Ariana and Makayla Russell, and Grant and Delaney Russell; brother, Ronald E. Cronin and wife, Karen; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Ohio St., Bangor. All are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor immediately following the graveside.
