Ellen M. (Spencer) Boudreau, 88, wife of the late Aubrey Boudreau, died April 1, 2015 at EMMC. Waiting for her in heaven are, her daughter, Jennifer J. Lever, son, Charles E. Lever, III, and grandson and yardsale’n buddy, Sam Alexander.
She was born in Bangor, June 17, 1926, daughter of John F. Spencer and Josephine M. (Thompson) Spencer Candellari.
Ellen enjoyed spending time with family, yardsales, beano, playing cards, going for rides to the coast, out to lunch with family and friends for a good cheeseburger, and any puzzle or book she could get her hands on. She delighted many children with her handmade Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and Barbie clothes.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Edward Lever, Jr., two brothers, Leonard and Kenneth and sisters, Marjorie, Elizabeth “Libby” and Loretta Spencer.
Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Dickinson and her husband Fred of Corinth, Joellyn Alexander and her husband, Joe of Hudson, daughter-in-law, Anne Lever of Dedham; many loving grandchildren especially Ashley Smith and family, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one brother, Irving Spencer and his wife Sondra of Bangor; sisters, Christine “Tina” Seger of Bangor, Mary Worcester of Dedham, Priscilla Candellari of Ohio, Shirley Kepple and her husband John of Windham, Sharon Clark and her husband Richard of Orrington; sister-in-law, Priscilla Spencer of Bangor; and loyal family friend, Ralph Doble.
The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of life gathering with conversation and refreshments, 1-3 p.m. Tuesday April 7, 2015 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith 163 Center St. Bangor. Later in the spring interment will be in the Mohawk Cemetery, Hudson.
