Eric Kearns

Eric Thomas Kearns, 44, died unexpectedly on November 11, 2024, at his home in Charleston. He was born August 24, 1980, in Portland Maine, the son of James Sr. and Kathy (Hersey) Kearns.

Eric graduated from Dover Foxcroft Academy class of 2000. After graduation, Eric worked many jobs, he was a mason by trade and built with passion. His work shows through the home he built in Charleston. Eric is a man of few words, studying college working on his History and English majors, even talked about teaching one day, spreading his knowledge. He celebrated 11 years of love with his fiancé, Jade Bennett, they were planning a wedding in May. Eric spent many hours working in his man cave/garage on his music and car.

Surviving in addition to his fiancé, Jade Bennett; are his daughters, Lucy and Molly (Mylo); one brother, James Kearns Jr. and his wife, Mel, of Dover Foxcroft; two sisters, Cyndi Kearns of Ellsworth, Kelli Littlefield and her husband, Zane, of Winterport; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Kathy Hersey.
