Corinth - Estelle M. Rowe went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2024. She was born October 11, 1948, in Dexter, Maine, the oldest daughter of Clayton J. Ambrose and Vivian I. (Parker) Ambrose.
Stell married the love of her life, Moncena “Monty” R. Rowe, on November 26, 1966. In November, they celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Stell brought her family to the Charleston Church in 1980 and she was a faithful member for almost 45 years. She always pointed her family to God.
Through the years, Stell worked hard to provide a wonderful life for her family. She never missed a game or event and was always the loudest cheerleader. She always made sure they were well taken care of.
Stell helped Monty open and grow his business (Rowe’s Garage and Auto Sales). She was supportive and always believed in his vision and she did all she could to see it fulfilled.
Stell loved riding her Harley, cruising in her Mustang, playing softball, and endless hours playing cards with her sisters. She loved her lunch dates with her son and the legendary shopping trips with her daughter, watching her son coach and her grandkids play sports. Stell was a praying mother and grandmother and for that, we are all so grateful.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, Monty, are her son, Michael C. Rowe and his wife, Lisa (Horne) Rowe of Corinth; daughter, Stacey A. (Rowe) Stormann, and her husband, Les of Old Town; seven grandchildren, Michala, Bradley, Stefan, Jared, Joshua, Kelsi, and Kendall; eight great-grandchildren; her very loved sisters, Julie Washington of Dexter, Lisa Pelletier of Passadumkeag, Mary Sweet and her husband, Ron of Exeter; her aunt Ginny (Virginia) Metivier and her husband, Dick of Newport; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Susan Emery; her stepmother, Lillie Ambrose; her aunt, Charlene Plourde; and her great-grandson, Able.
A very special thank you to Gentiva Hospice, especially Abby and Harmony. We will never forget the love and care you showed.
