Eugene Hardin, 59, of Orrington, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday November 27, 2014. He was born September 9, 1955, the son of Fred and Carole (Clendenning) Hardin.
In addition to his mother, Carole Hardin, Gene is survived by his loving wife Judith (Larcombe) Hardin; four children, Jaime Gross and her husband Jason, Kami Desautels and her husband Justin, Mallori Smith and her husband Ben, and Andrew Hardin; grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew, Aaron, Avery, and Kenzy that he loved very much; siblings, Sandra Martin and her husband Bud, Barbara Keezer and her husband Paul; and several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Fred Hardin.
Gene worked over forty years for WVII Fox Bangor most recently as Promotions Manager and Public Service Director. He was also very well known for many years as radio DJ, JJ WEST, most recently at Q106.5. He was an avid sports fan, whether it was a New England sports teams or his kids or grandkids event.
His son, Andrew, will keep the Hardin name going. Gene will be forever loved and missed by all.
