Flint E. Spaulding

Flint Edward Spaulding, 65, passed away peacefully, January 31, 2025. with his loving family by his side. Flint was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on December 23, 2024 which he fought courageously and with great dignity. Flint was born in Bangor, July 10, 1959, the son of Edward C. and Glenyce E. (Leach) Spaulding.
Surviving are his wife, Robin L. Spaulding; father, Edward Charles Spaulding of Frankfort ; children, Matthew Spaulding and his wife Ashley of Eddington, Haley Spaulding and fiancé James of Newburgh, Scot E.P. Smith of Las Vegas, N.V.; six beautiful grandchildren, Cameron, Ethan, Cole, Khloe, Miles and Elaina; sister, Robin Roberts and husband Stacy of Port Charlotte, FL., brothers, Mark Spaulding and his wife Deborah of Cape Coral, FL., Scott Spaulding of Frankfort; a step-sister, Kelly Whitmore and husband David of Sullivan; special in-laws, Heather and Sylvain Pinet of Bangor, Rhonda and Phil Brown of Greenbush, Leah and Graylin Toby of Glenburn, Bobby and Lynn Powers of Townville, S.C.; many aunts and uncles, friends and coworkers, nieces and nephews with special mention of Joan Bean, Kristina and Alisha Spaulding, Kim Swan, Lorna Pinet, Danica Brown, Kassie Ogenowski, and Kelly Crooker.
Flint was predeceased by his mother, Glenyce Elaine Spaulding and his birth mother, Virginia Elizabeth Cunningham.
Flint was baptized alongside his loving wife into the catholic church. Together their faith grew finding peace and comfort.
He began his brotherhood into the masons, joining Lynde Lodge #174 of Hermon with his best friend Gary Collins, who he enjoyed riding motorcycles with. Flints love of his Harley took he and Robin on many beautiful adventures together. Hiking and snowshoeing were passions they also enjoyed, as well as vacations to the tropics.
Flint is also a character in a book from longtime childhood friend author B.M. Simpson/ Brian Simpson, Saint Martin Kennel Club.
A masonic memorial service will be held 11 am. Monday, February 10, 2025, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, followed by a Liturgy outside of Mass. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., following the services. Please wear tropical attire in honor of Flint's love for the tropics.
