Flora Ella Ogden, 91, passed away August 8, 2019, at a Bangor hospital. She was born October 22, 1927, in Costigan, the daughter of Raymond N. and Ida B. (Grant) McLaughlin.
Flora adored her lifelong love of her late husband Kenneth Lemuel Ogden. She touched the hearts of so many people who knew her and loved her. Flora was well loved by all of her family and friends and she will be dearly missed. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She is survived by a daughter Sandra Thurston; a sister, Sadie Ogden; grandchildren, Wanda Williams, Kim Smith, Melanie Pineo, Amanda Ogilvie; great-grandchildren, Karyssa Upham, Kyle Williams, Logan Emery, Amora Ogilvie, Isaac Pineo; great-great-grandchildren, Vera-Mae and Brynn-Lee; and many dear friends. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Linda L. Smith; siblings, Charles McLaughlin, Ruth Sherwood, Alice Porter and Pauline Madore.
Graveside funeral services will be held 10 AM, Thursday, August 15, 2019, at the Milford Cemetery, Milford. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Avenue, Bangor, ME 04401. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com.
