HOLDEN - Frances P. “Patty” Keeran, 85, passed away February 9 2020, in Bangor. She was born July 16 1934, in Old Town, the daughter of Frederick A. and June (Scott) Burns of Old Town.
Patty was an avid reader and consummate homemaker. She along with her husband of 61 years, Henry B. Keeran, enjoyed the task of renovating numerous homes for over 26 years. She would look forward to snowbirding in their winter home in St. Cloud, FL.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, David S. Keeran; sisters, Gladys McCullen of WA, Margaret Sinclair of Pittsfield, Jane Knight of Bangor, and Mary Burns of Rockland. She is survived by her husband, Henry Keeran of Holden; a brother, Frederick A. Burns and wife, Dorothy of Fayetteville NC; a son, Patrick M. Keeran and wife, Tess of Beaver Cove; grandchildren, Jennifer, Wayne, Kari, Ross, Tyne, Rede, Talia; and many great-grandchildren.
A private spring interment will be in Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. Gifts in Patty’s memory may be made to the Maine Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, 383 US Route One, Suite 2C, Scarborough, ME 04074. Condolences to the family may be expressed at Brookings-Smith.com.
