Frances Russell

HAMPDEN – Frances Louise (Parent) Russell, 94, died peacefully November 23, 2018, at a Dover-Foxcroft healthcare facility. She was born November 15, 1924, in Milo, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (Degerstrom) Parent.

Frances was raised by her father and step-mother, Jenny Parent. She was a 1943 graduate of Milo High School. Frances was married to Charles H. Russell, of Milo, for over 50 years. She and Charlie traveled all over the United States after his retirement from the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad. Frances really liked those road trips and kept a journal of their travels. Frances was a member of the Order of The Eastern Star (Hampden Lodge).

Frances was predeceased by her parents, and her husband. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Oxborough of California; a half-sister, Loretta England of Old Town, a nephew, Harold Oxborough of California, and a niece, Virginia Foss and husband, Lawrence of Milo.
