GLENBURN - Frank "Frankie" Mayhew, IV, 24, beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betsy" Mayhew, left this earth Sunday, January 3, 2016, surrounded by all of his loving family. Frankie was born August 6, 1991 to his proud parents, Frank and Vicki (Tarr) Mayhew of Glenburn. Frankie met his "Betsy B" in January 2013. She was truly the love of his life. He told her numerous times every day that she was "The best wife in the whole wide world." Frankie married his best friend Betsy January 14, 2014, which was without a doubt the best day of his life. He loved Betsy like no other and always wanted her at his side. Frankie enjoyed just about everything involving the outdoors. He was known for his love of hunting, particularly raccoons and raising award-winning hunting dogs. He loved snowmobiling and four wheeling, spending time with family and friends. Frankie had a heart of gold. He touched so many hearts during his short life. He loved people and could strike a conversation with anyone. Frankie was like a people magnet and enjoyed talking with anyone who was willing to chat. He had a great sense of humor. He loved reciting the words of Bob Marley and making people laugh. Frankie was so very loving and appreciative for everything and everyone in his life. Frankie could be as rough as they come but he also had a gentle side to match no one. He could care for a baby better than most mothers and extended that love to his pets. Frankie attended Glenburn Elementary and then Orono High School where he graduated in 2009. He spent the majority of his life living in Glenburn with his family including his deceased grandmother "Nana", Betty Tarr. She was a huge part of his life until her passing in August of 2014. Frankie loved his "Nana" beyond words and never truly got over losing her. In addition to his wife and parents, Frankie is also survived by his brothers, Christopher Tarr and Jeffrey Mayhew and his fiance Jenn Quinn; a sister, Jennifer Mayhew; nephews, Quintin and Landen; niece, Libby; maternal grandfather, Ronald Tarr; special uncle and aunt, Horace and Kelley Dunton; special cousin, Travis Dunton; paternal grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Mayhew, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
