Galen D. Eastman, 86, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, September 28, 2020. He was born September 30, 1933 in Exeter, ME. the son of Ora and Avis (Cloudman) Eastman.
He graduated from Corinna Union Academy in 1952. He had a 20 year military career. After retirement he continued to enjoy traveling. Galen was a member of the American Legion Post 73, Corinna and a member of the South Levant Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean (Crouse) Eastman; son, Mark Eastman and wife Karen of Tx., daughters, Beth Wight and husband Greg of Carmel, April Stanhope ,and husband Doug of Hampden, Holly Eastman of Corinna; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Deane Eastman.
He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Thayne, Wendell and Dale Eastman.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service 3 pm. Friday, October 2, 2020 at the Exeter Mills Cemetery, Eaton Rd., Exeter.
