George Shaw

On March 19, 2025, the Rev. George Shaw passed away at a Belfast healthcare facility. He was born December 31, 1952, to the late Dorothy and William Shaw, Jr.

George worked for many years for the City of Bangor until retirement. He was well known for giving spiritual readings. Georgie loved gardening and adored dogs.

George was predeceased by his beloved wife, Cassie; mother, Dorothy; brother, Billy; and a nephew, Jerry Morris, Jr. He is survived by sisters, Debbie Mutzabaugh and her husband, Joseph, Judy and her husband, Jerry, Deannie Shaw, and Molly Quinn; as well as several special nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank two very special friends, Kimberly Mills and Dennis Honey, who went the extra mile for George later in life.
