Hampden - Gerald E. Rudman, 85, passed away July 18, 2013, at home. He was born April 21, 1928 in Bangor, the son of Abraham and Irene (Epstein) Rudman.
Gerry graduated Bangor High School, the University of Maine and George Washington School of Law, married Judith Kolker of Baltimore and joined his father in the practice of law, forming what would today become the 30+ person Bangor firm of Rudman Winchell.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert. Surviving in addition to his wife of 61 years are his brother Paul of Tucson, Arizona, and his sons Robert of Anchorage, Alaska, Samuel of Falmouth, and James of Berwyn, Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law Liz and grandchildren Abby, Sara, Maddi and Lucy, along with four nieces and a nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to Beth Israel Synagogue, 144 York Street, Bangor for a celebration of his life at 11am on July 23. Those who wish to remember Gerry in a special way may make gifts in his memory to the Abraham M.
