Geraldine Prescott

Newburgh - Geraldine (Rogers) Prescott, 88, passed away August 11, 2016 at her home. She was born in Newburgh, September 5, 1927 daughter of Florian O. and Emily S. (Knowles) Rogers. Geraldine and her husband Frank, were founding members of the Newburgh Full Gospel Church. They donated the land and helped to build the church. She enjoyed gardening. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Frank K. Prescott, September 24, 2002, and a brother, Forrest O. Rogers. Surviving are three sons, Terry S. Prescott and his partner, Robert Hanson of TX., Jerry D. Prescott and his wife, Robin and Barry K. Prescott and his wife, Diana, all of Newburgh; four grandchildren, Joseph and Adam Prescott, Emily Prescott and Heather Rines; seven great grandchildren; cousins including a special cousin, Marguerite Reynolds.
