Gladys Bradford

BREWER – Gladys H. Bradford, 80, passed away May 25, 2014, at a local nursing home, surrounded by family, following a brief illness. She was born January 2, 1934(1-2-34), in Holden, the daughter of John and Lillian (McAllian) Hall. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers and a sister; her husband Douglas V.Bradford,Sr.; her sons, Douglas V. Bradford, Jr. and Scott A. Bradford; and a grandson, Mark D. Bradford. Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia Bradford of Hampden and granddaughter, Heather; daughter-in-law, Brenda Bradford of Orrington and granddaughter, Melissa (Bradford) Boyan and her husband, Nathan; a son, Stephen Bradford, his wife, Linda, and grandsons, Jason and Benjamin of New York; a son, David Bradford, his wife, Cydnee, of Arizona, and grandchildren, Nathan, Ian, Evangeline, and Dylan; a son, Thomas Bradford, his wife, Carlene, of Brewer, and granddaughters, Danica and her husband, Chad; and Shandel; a son, Michael Bradford, his wife, Pam, of Florida, and granddaughters, Alicia and Michelle; and Scott’s children, her grandchildren, Callen and Barton; as well as several great grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Jean VanWart; and a special family friend, Clara Swan. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
