GLEN ROSS HUDGENS, JR.
BANGOR.
Glen R. Hudgens, Jr, 55, died too young on January 30, 2022 at a Bangor hospital. He was born on March 2, 1966 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of Glen R.Hudgens Sr. and Linda (Lopez) Newton.
Glen graduated from Santa Ana High School, class of 1984. After high school, he started his sales career in furniture and soon met his wife of 31 years, Renee Darveau. They moved to the Boston area and married in 1990. They eventually settled in Bangor where Glen pursued car sales and financing. In 2007 he joined his wife Renee to open a furniture store, Chez Renee Home Furnishings, for 10 years. In 2006 he entered into mortgage lending and worked at several local mortgage companies, as well as opening two lending offices. In 2019 he decided to take his passion for collecting antiques to a new level and opened Antique Alley in Bangor. Glen loved golfing, Texas holdem, camp life, dancing, anything that involved family and playing with his beloved 1st grandchild Olive.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Renee (Darveau) Hudgens, are his daughters, Kortnie (Hudgens) Mullins and her husband, Nick and their daughter Olive, of Bangor, and Miranda Hudgens and her partner Viktor Domberg of Orebro, Sweden; One brother, Alex Hudgens and his wife Denise of Anaheim, CA; Two sisters, Joginna Alfaro and her husband Jose of Tijuana MX, and Linda (Bambi) Hudgens and her partner Lonnie Owens of Frazier Park, CA; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step dad – Charles (Dennis) Newton.
The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bangor on Saturday February 12th from 2pm to 5pm.
