BANGOR – Gloria H. Waldron, 83, wife of Henry “Hank” Waldron, died January 2, 2015 at her home. She was born September 19, 1931 in Bangor, daughter of John and Florence (Grady) Davis.
Gloria was a life member of the Millwee Chapter #198, OES of Orrington, a board member of Habitat for Humanity, DAV Auxiliary, a life member of the Air Force Sargent’s Association and the Sunshine Club of Anah Shriners.
Surviving , in addition to her loving husband, Henry Waldron of Bangor are one son, Allen Waldron; one grandson, Christopher; special and extended family, General USAF Gregory Fick and his wife, Karen of Albuquerque, NM and their children, Katlyn of Virginia, Audrey of New York and Mary of New Mexico. Gloria was predeceased by a son, Michael and a brother, James.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor with the Rev. Richard Reynolds, pastor of the Second Congregational Church of Brewer, officiating. Those who wish to remember Gloria in a special way may make gifts in her memory to the Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215 or the Children’s Dyslexia Center, 294 Union Street, Suite 2, Bangor, ME 04401.
