Harold Arnold “Skip” Beal, 55, of Brewer, died from cancer, November 20, 2015, passing peacefully at home in his wife’s arms. Skip fought to live and continued to fight until he passed. He was born in Jonesport, January 3, 1960, the son of Harold F. and Alice Carrol (Emerson) Beal.
Skip proudly served in the US Army for 4 years, stationed in Germany. In his later years, he enjoyed reading, old history, and the show, House. Skip also loved going for rides, spending quiet nights at home, and had a love for all animals.
Skip is survived by his wife, Michele (Gray) Beal, of Brewer; son, Forrest Beal of Pembroke; daughter, Tiffany Levasseur and husband, Scott of Benton; stepson, Trai Boutilier and wife, Lauren of Brewer; 9 grandchildren, Dalton, Logan, Peyton, Brice, Anthony, Casey, Benjamin, Trai and Kaiden; great granddaughter, Jayla; sister, Lisa and her husband, Brian, of Pembroke; brothers, Glen and his wife, Bobbie Jo and Wade and his wife, Allison, all of Pembroke; aunts, Annette of Old Town, Jeanita of Addison, and Lois of Revere, MA; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Skip was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Phyllis Beal; maternal grandparents, Arnold and Elizabeth Emerson; and a brother, Rico Carver.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in conversation and refreshments 1-3 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Family Reception Rooms of the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main Street, Brewer.
