Harold Gene Botting, 49, passed away on December 17, 2013. Harold was born May 1, 1964, the son of Victor and Glenna (Gould) Botting.
Harold is survived by his daughters Allison and Ashley of Staceyville; his father, Victor Botting, Sr. and his wife, Dolores of Holden; brothers, David Botting and his wife, Dawn of Hermon, Victor Botting, Jr. and his wife, Eileen of Sherman and South Bend, IN, and William Botting of Patten; a special friend, Vicki Wolfe of Orono, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Glenna Botting Hejduk and his brother, Darrell D. Botting.
Harold graduated from Orono High School in 1982 and joined the Marines, after which he lived and worked in Wallace, NC and Pompano Beach, FL before returning home to Maine. Harold held several jobs, with his last and favorite being at Pat’s Pizza in Orono until his ill health forced him to retire.
The family invites relatives and friends to share in conversation and refreshments at a memorial gathering for Harold, 1pm – 3pm, Saturday May 3, 2014 at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
