Harold “Sonny” LeClair III, passed away peacefully November 8, 2020 at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Bangor, May 16, 1962, the son of Harold and Doris (Burr) LeClair Jr.

Sonny was a graduate of Orono High School. He attended the University of Maine and was a proud member of the S.A. E. Fraternity. In 1986 he met his soul mate and future wife, Barbette Haskell. They married in 1989. In 1995 they opened Quality Jewelers, which is celebrating its 25th year in business. In 2012 he became part owner of Seasons Restaurant Bangor and in 2016 part owner of Damons Beverage, Bangor.

Sonny enjoyed golfing with dear friends, traveling, summers at camp and Sunday afternoons at Seasons.
Surviving are his wife, Barbette of 31 years; daughter, Danielle LeClair of Madison, WI.; son, Zachary LeClair of Orrington; sister, Cristol Wickett and husband Terry of Alton; brother, Timothy Work of FL.; and sister, Diane Vinal and husband, Emile of Orono; very special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to thank Sonny’s very incredible friends and family who had his back until the end.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-8 pm. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A graveside service will be held 11 am. Saturday November 14, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery, Bennoch Rd., Orono.

Due to the current restrictions, there will be a celebration of his life at Seasons Restaurant, at a later date.
