HARRIETT L. WISCHOW
BANGOR – Harriett L. Wischow, 81, passed away peacefully at a local healthcare center, December 7, 2019. She was born July 30, 1938, in Bradford, the daughter of Irving and Esther E. (Brawn) Ellingwood.
Harriett enjoyed gardening, had a love for animals, dancing, and road trips, especially to West Virginia, Wisconsin and Canada. She also had taken care of a very special young man, Christopher Doehring, who has predeceased her.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her son, Rocky Wischow Sr., and her sister, Ellie. Surviving, are her daughters; Kaila Stitham, Penny Wischow; daughter in-law, Karen Wischow; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Ralph, William, Rose-Ellen; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to thank the wonderful staff at Westgate Manor. In keeping with Harriett’s wishes, services will be private.
