Heather Rene Donald, 41, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, in Bangor, Maine. Heather was born in Fairfax County, Virginia, daughter of the late David and Judy White.
Heather is survived by Chris, her devoted husband of 11 years; her sons Logan, 10, and Miles, 6; her brother, Butch and sister-in-law Katy Parnell; her mother-in-law, Donna Donald; her sister-in-law, Crista Donald; her paternal grandmother, Renee White, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and amazing friends.
Heather graduated from First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach with the class of 1999. Following graduation, she attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she played four years of collegiate volleyball and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. After graduating, Heather had a successful career at Bank of America, where she made many contributions and touched many colleagues whom she called friends.
Heather loved the beach, summers growing up at her family’s cottage on the Albermarle Sound in North Carolina, being active outdoors, traveling, spending time with her friends, and, most importantly, making memories with her boys.
Heather had such a kind, loyal, fun-loving, infectious personality that instantly charmed all she met. It didn't matter how long one knew her, one quickly realized her passion for life and how important it was to her to make sure everyone around her shared in those same amazing experiences. She will be forever loved and remembered by those she touched.
