Helen Hasey

August 7, 1925 — November 29, 2020

Helen V. Hackett Hasey, 95, passed away November 29, 2020 at her home with her granddaughters by her side. She was born in Hermon, August 7, 1925 the daughter of Alton H. P. and Madeline V. (Pomeroy) Snow.

Helen was a graduate of Hermon High School and Bangor Community College .She worked at home and outside of the home. She was a lifetime member of the South Levant Baptist Church, teaching Sunday school, vacation bible school and was a camp counselor. She was well-known for doing family genealogies and was a member of the Maine Genealogy Society and the Hermon Historical Society. Helen and her husband, Robert owned Hilltop Greenhouses in Hermon. She was also an active member of the Hermon and Carmel Sr. Citizens.

Helen was a mother and grandmother to many. She was known for her generosity, kindness and compassion. She exemplified her love for God with everyone. Helen enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her church family. She treated everyone like her own, and was the best of all of us. Helen was truly a woman of God.

Surviving are her daughter, Dolly Hackett; grandchildren, Kimberly St. Pierre, Valarie Patterson and husband Ricky, Dennis Hasey and wife Teri , Brian Hasey and wife Jody; great grandchildren, Cody, Jasmine, Brittany, Julia, Taylor Paige, Brandon, Alisha, Isabella, Abigail, Gabriella and Hannah Grace; four great great grandchildren, Rylee Mae, Paisley, Delaney and Brayden; stepchildren, Robert Hasey, Jr. and wife Nancy, Virginia Elliott, David Hasey, Colleen Flores, Lorilei Murphy and husband Dennis and Pam Byron; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; five sisters, Evelyn Crockett, Pauline Drazskowski, Angie Moore, Frances Green and Mildred Hanson; many nieces and nephews; the Patricia Gray family. She was predeceased by husbands, Fred Hackett and Robert Hasey, Sr. brothers, Melvin, James and Lewis Snow and great granddaughter Ciera Radel.

Relatives and friends are invited to call 3 pm to 4 pm. Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Due to covid restrictions, the funeral service will be private for immediate family only.
