BREWER – Imogene M. Perkins, ageless, died peacefully December 30, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a graduate of Brewer High School. She was employed as a mental health worker, a position she loved at Bangor Mental Health Institute.
Surviving are one son, Albert Jewell and his wife, Linda of Llano, TX; one daughter, Wanda Jewell and her husband, Bill Crouch of Brewer; three grandchildren, Ronald Jewell and his wife, Ariel of Austin, TX, Jesse Manson and his wife, Demetria of Chicago, IL, and Meghan Manson of Burlington, VT; two great-grandchildren, Ruby Lee and Cora Mae; four stepchildren, Lisa, David, Michael and Joey. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond Jewell, second husband, David Perkins and a sister, Regina Babcock. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the Bangor Area Visiting Nurses Hospice.
A funeral service will be held 11am, Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main Street, Brewer, with Pastor Tim Curtis officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Rooms, 55 South Main Street, Brewer, immediately following the service Monday.
