BANGOR - Jacqueline A. (Jackie Falatic) Ellis, 81, was called home to be with the Lord and her husband on July 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family, friends and healthcare workers. She was born on December 10, 1942 in Bangor, the daughter of Roland “Jack” and Ella Rita Falatic.
In 1963, she began what would be a 56 year marriage with the “best man a girl could have found”, her sweet husband, Richard A. Ellis. They had 3 children together and created many endless heartfelt memories with one another throughout their travels and adventures. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her youngest son, Steven J. Ellis.
She is survived by her son, John Patrick Ellis of Bangor; daughter, Kathleen Hope (Rioux) Day and her husband, Eric of Bangor; two granddaughters, Lt. Col. Samantha J. Sproul and her husband, Jarred of Brewer, and Jessica R. Fraser and her husband, Ian of Brewer; four great-grandchildren, Lilian and Abigail Sproul, and Jack and Hannah Fraser. She will be deeply missed by many.
Upon Jackie’s request, there will be no services. Those who wish to remember Jackie in a special way may volunteer at their local elderly care facilities.
