BANGOR - James “Jay” Morrone Jr., 30, left this world too soon May 23, 2022, at his home. He was born August 12, 1991, in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of James Sr. and Deborah (Keen) Morrone.
More than anything Jay loved being with his family: Karlee Rose, his daughter and the apple of his eye, and who also shared his birthday. Abby and Eddie, Jays’ bonus kids whom he loved and whom was so proud of; and Katy Rogers, Jays’ fiancée and the love of his life. They created the perfect blended family and they were so happy together. David, Ada and Michael Rogers who welcomed Jay into their home and their hearts. At 30 years old Jay touched the hearts of all who knew him. He was a special man who will never be forgotten.
In addition to his parents, Jay is survived by his older brother, Sean; older sister, Nicole and her partner, Devin, and younger sister, Rebecca and her wife, Autumn; aunts and uncles, Caroline and her husband, Red, of Pennsylvania, Emma Reynolds and her husband, Herb, of Maine, Tammi and her husband, Rob, of Massachusetts, Terri Capprini and her husband, Mike, of Maine; nephews, Michael James and Cameron Carter; and several cousins, extended family and friends. Jay will forever be in our hearts.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor.
