James "Jim" Griffin Nelligan Sr., 85, passed away October 27, 2020, in Greentown, Indiana. He was born in Bangor, March 3, 1935, son of Francis and Edward Nelligan.
Jim began his working career as a truck driver with Hemmingway Transport.
As a young boy, Jim was infatuated with photography. He started with Stevens Studios as a young man then eventually owned his own business, J&M Studios in Old Town. Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing his steel guitar.
He was predeceased by two sons, Jimmy and Gary Nelligan; two brothers, Paul and Don Nelligan. Surviving are four children, Lorrie Goodrich and her husband, Albert of Ellsworth, Rosemary Nelligan of Holden, Mike Nelligan and his wife, Janet of Holden, and Melissa Moyers of Orlando, FL.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
