James P. Robichaud

James Robichaud, 73, died April 23, 2020 after a long illness, at home with his loving wife by his side.
He was born in Bangor, August 10, 1946 the son of Alphonse J. Robichaud II and Margaret E. (Morrison) Robichaud.
Jim graduated from Orono H.S in 1964 and joined the US Army where he served the country until 1967.
After his honorable discharge, he returned to the local area and was a very well-known vocalist and guitar lead playing in Blue Destiny and several other local bands. He owned his own business, Robichaud Business Machines, also worked in sales at Wholesale Depot and had a popular DJ business. He later retired from Acadia Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Judi, the love of his life; sister, Carole and husband Aubrey Hoyle; son, Ryan and wife Amanda Robichaud; daughter, Rachel Gravelle and husband Jared; step children, Cori Getchell and husband Dean Blanks; Crista Getchell and partner Ben Douglass; grandchildren, Archer and Maisey Douglass, and Farah Blanks; father-in-law, Rev. Richard Hamilton and his mother-in-law, Anna Hamilton; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Susan Ouellette; brothers-in-law, Jim Hamilton and wife, Collette, Chris Hamilton and wife, Jennifer, Andrew Hamilton and wife, Stacy.
Jim was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Alphonse J. Robichaud III.
