DIXMONT- Jane “Janie” Louise Reynolds, 66, was called home to Glory by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 23, 2021. She was born November 27, 1954 in Bangor, the daughter of Carl Winfield Cobb and Nancy Louise (Stanchfield) Cobb.
Jane attended Bangor High School and then went on to complete her Certified Nursing Certificate of which she proudly earned an “A” grade. She had a big heart for people and was passionate about life. Jane was God loving and devoted to her children and family. Jane attended the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, Bangor. Upon moving to Dixmont she attended Dixmont Baptist Church and prior to her passing she was a member of the East Dixmont Community Church. She enjoyed listening to music, singing loudly, watching good movies, dining-out, and spending summers at Grammie Stanchfield’s camp on Boyd Lake with the family. Jane was a beauty with rosy cheeks and big beautiful blue eyes. Her late husband Edward always said, “You’re just like Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way!”, and he was right. For she was a perfect mother to her children, and she will be missed dearly until they are reunited in Heaven. For she was a rose among thorns, an angel among mortals, none shall compare, nor replace.
She is survived by her daughters, Annette Colangelo and her husband, Anthony, of Dixmont, Marion Norris and her husband, Brian, and their children, Joseph and Anna, of Lamoine; son, Charles Reynolds, of Glenburn; Laurie Dyer, whom she loved as a daughter, and her husband, Steve, of Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers, Wayne Cobb, Timothy Cobb and his wife, Michelle, and Mark Cobb, all of Bangor; three nephews, Corey, Michael, and Tye; one niece, Rachelle; and her life-long friend, Mrs. Gail Gonzales.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Edward Reynolds.
