Janet Lawrence

Carmel – Janet N. Lawrence, 88, passed away December 26, 2019, at a Bangor Hospital. She was born August 23, 1931, the daughter of Carl and Zoye (White) Bridgham.

Janet loved to sew and knit. She enjoyed going to “senior citizens.” Janet was an excellent cook. She was also a member of Golden Harvest Grange.

Janet is survived by her daughter, Patty and her husband, Donnie Kneeland; her son, Tommy Verrill; friend, Lucy; two grandchildren, Trevor Kneeland, and Lisa Bishop and her husband, Cary; two great-granddaughters, Zoye, and Tesa; many nieces and nephews; as well as several close friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Gerald Verrill; and a brother, Reynold Bridgham.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 1-2 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2019, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held immediately following, with Pastor Mark Rustin, officiating. Interment will be held at Highland Cemetery, Carmel, in the spring.
