Jean Charles "Chuck" Boucher III, 73, of Carmel, passed away peacefully at his home on December 9th, 2024. A resident of Lewiston for most of his childhood, he was proud of his French Canadian heritage. He attended Holy Cross grade school, The Seminary of our Lady of LaSalette in Enfield, NH, Assumption College in Worcester, MA, and he graduated from UMO in 1977. He held several jobs throughout his life, but his favorite by far was working at MBNA/Bank of America in Belfast for over 20 years, where he made countless friends.
The loves of his life were his wife, Lynn, and his daughters, Leah and Abby. He attended every dance recital his girls were in at Top Hat II Dance Studio, took them on vacations all throughout New England, and shared his love of UMO hockey and the Bruins with them. He was a man who beat the odds many times in his life; he was a 20 year esophageal cancer survivor and recovered from several heart attacks later in his life, all while still making the nurses and doctors smile. He loved the Lord and had a knack for making everyone around him laugh with his classic Chuck “dad” jokes.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jean Charles Boucher II and Germaine Boucher, many aunts and uncles, as well as a niece, Sarah Boucher. He is survived by his loving wife: Lynn (Beckwith) Boucher of Carmel, daughters: Abigail Boucher of Orono, Leah Enos and husband Jesse Enos of Lewiston, 2 brothers: Marc (Linda) Boucher of Hampden, Greg (Hilary) Boucher of Franklin, TN, a brother in law: Rodney (Donna) Beckwith of Dover Foxcroft, in laws: Norman “Sonny” and Mona Beckwith of Carmel, nieces: Celeste Boucher, Catherine (Marco) Boucher-Cornelio, Kacey (Adam) Brown, Nicole (Zack) Beckwith-Dawson, Grace (Ryan) Phelps, nephews: Spencer Boucher, Garrett (Chandler) Boucher, great nephews: Luca Cornelio, Enzo Cornelio, Forest Dawson, Preston Boucher, a great niece: Sophie Cornelio, an uncle: Roger (Joan) Boucher, and an aunt: Helene L’Heureux, plus many cousins.
His family invites you to a celebration of life on Saturday, December 14th at the Penobscot County Conservation Association (570 North Main Street, Brewer, ME 04412) from 12-2pm. Please join us to share in our happy and funny memories of a wonderful man.
