Jean A. Lyshon, 61, died unexpectedly October 25, 2015. She was born December 29, 1953, in Bangor, the daughter of Harold and Doris (Clewley) Rolfe.
Jeannie grew up in the Bangor area and received her Associate’s degree from Beal College. She was a long time employee at Bangor Pipe & Supply in Bangor. She and her beloved husband, Ron Lyshon, were 2 months shy of celebrating 16 years of marriage. Jeannie loved to go camping, especially at Parks Pond in Clifton, where fellow campers were like a second family. She was a sweetheart, and very caring and understanding. Everyone else always came first.
In addition to her parents, Jeannie was predeceased by her brother, Harold “Terry” Rolfe. She is survived by her husband, Ron Lyshon; daughter, Trudy Gray; son, Bobby Gardner; stepsons, Justin and Devin Lyshon; grandchildren, Emily Gray, Leah Lyshon, Carson Lyshon, and Anni Morris; sister, Deloris “Dee” Harriman and husband Merrill; half-brothers, James and Stanley Rolfe; and several nieces and nephews. She will be especially missed by her best friend, Neila Faucher.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with Rev. Roger Tracy, pastor of East Eddington Community Church, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 6 p.m. until time of service Thursday.
