BANGOR AND MILO - Jean Marilyn Mayo, 80, died with her family by her side, February 10, 2014, at her home. She was born January 24, 1934, the daughter of Raymond and Louise (Degerstrom) White.
Jean graduated from Brownville Jct High School, Class of 1952. After high school Jean married her sweetheart Neil A. Mayo, and they lived and raised their children in Milo. Jean was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother.
Jean is survived by her husband of 61 years, Neil A. Mayo of Bangor; a son, Dale Mayo and his wife Carol, of Orrington; a daughter, Pam (Mayo) Watson and her husband Mike of Hermon; grandchildren, Kyla Mayo, Erin Mayo, Shane Mayo, Michael Mayo, Matthew Watson, Rebecca Watson, and Diane Harris; great grandchildren, Elijah Mabe, and Raylin Mayo; sisters, Mary Douglass and her husband Harvey, Patty Stevens, and Shirley McLaughlin and her husband Everett; and many nieces and nephews.
