Jeannine A. Young, beloved wife, mother, and nana, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on July 5, 2024 surrounded by her family at home. She was born on September 28, 1938, in Brewer, Maine to Rosalie and Harvey McLeod.
Jeannine created a lifetime of cherished memories with her family. She loved dancing, scouring yard sales, making fried dough for her grandchildren, watching westerns and whoopie pies. She especially enjoyed playing Sunday cards with her husband, grandchildren and late daughter in law Teresa.
Jeannine was adored by all who knew her. She leaves behind her husband Carl Young, brother Harry and his wife Holly, her children- Robin and Ernie Mlynarczyk , Marla Rae Peavey , Kevin and Yl Ning Frost, and Danny Frost. Step children Carl and Terri Young, and Mary and Charlie West. 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, whom she adored.
She is predeceased by her first husband Wendell Frost and Daughter in law, Teresa Frost.
A funeral service will be held 2PM, Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, following the service.
