Jenny Toothaker

PROSPECT AND NEWBURGH - Jenny E. (Gamble) "Nanu" Toothaker, 67, passed away at home, September 22, 2020. She was born October 1, 1952, the daughter of Edward and Lucretia (Littlefield) Gamble. Jenny grew up on Sandy Point Beach, starting her lifelong love for the water. She was devoted to her family, whom she loved full-heartedly. Jenny was adventurous, whether it be rollercoaster rides with her daughter or four-wheeler rides with her grandsons, nothing could hold her back. She loved to travel and enjoyed dining out with family and friends. She loved her Newfoundland dog, Bear; her Grey Squirrel, Mr. Furley; and the newest grandpuppy, Lulu, the Great Dane.
Jenny is survived by her loving husband, Roger "Bah"; daughter, Charity "Baby Girl"; son, Roger Jr. "Bebo"; grandchildren, Damion Brooks, Leanne Toothaker, Devon Fisher, Wes Toothaker, Chandler Shaw Toothaker, Drakke Toothaker; sisters-in-law, Sandra Nealley, Beverly Porter, Golda Toothaker, Brenda Gamble; brother-in-law, Vernon Toothaker, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and longtime childhood friend, Eileen Bartlett, and longtime friend, Sharon Towle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Rick Gamble, and Paul Gamble; father-in-law, Vernon Toothaker; mother-in-law, Phyllis Cobb Toothaker; brothers-in-law, Roland Nealley, and Raymond Porter. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020, at the Brookside Cemetery, Newburgh, ME, with the Rev. Dr. Rex Garrett, officiating.
