WINTERPORT – Jerome E. “Jerry” Dube, 63, passed away peacefully with his loving wife, November 7, 2022, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 15, 1959, in Methuen, Massachusetts, the son of Richard P. and Yvonne M. (Currier) Dube.
Jerry grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Shortly after graduating high school, he served his country in the U.S. Navy. In 1998, he met the love of his life, Pauline (Bass) Hatch. Shortly after, they were married and celebrated 22 years of marriage until his untimely passing. He spent 30 years moving furniture for various companies. Jerry loved doing models with his stepson, Casey. He also enjoyed camping; spending time in the wilderness with his family. He loved music, riding motorcycles. Jerry was always an upbeat, generous, giving man. Passing out candy at the Cancer Center, he was known as the “Candy Man”.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Pauline; children, Casey Bass, Autumn Hatch, Stacey Dickins, and Jessie Hickham; father, Richard Dube; his nine siblings; his loving cat, Edward; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by several extended family members.
In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, services will be private, and held at a date and time to be announced.
