Heaven gained another angel, January 3, 2016. Jesse was born in Bangor, March 13, 1982, the son of Greg and Patrice (Gallant) Rogers.
Jesse attended St. John’s Catholic School. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, serving in the choir and as an alter boy. Jesse graduated from Bangor High School and attended EMCC. He loved the outdoors, and was a member of the boy scouts. Jesse volunteered as a Jr. camp counselor at the YMCA. He excelled at, and was passionate about serving others, which led him to a successful career working in the hotel and hospitality industry. Jesse had a natural desire to want to help people. It’s no wonder that he gravitated towards the hospitality sector. Jesse started his career working as a night auditor. It did not take him long to prove himself as a very loyal and hard-working team member, with his unwavering desire to help customers. He worked his way up into the executive management team. Jesse was a young adult with a passion for making his mark on the world. He will be sadly missed by all his hotel team members, but will never be forgotten.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his brother, “bro” Shayne Rogers; step-sister, Kassandra Fish; maternal grandmother, Joyce Morrison and her husband, Barney; stepmother, Sandra Kearns-Rogers, step-grandmother, Ann Kearns; many special aunts, uncles and cousins; a very special friend, Michael Giles.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Paul E. Gallant; paternal grandparents, Frank and Grace Rogers.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John’s Catholic Church, York St., Bangor.
