Jessica “Jackie” Carver –4/4/ 1942 – 3/25/2024
Brewer
The world lost a beloved mother and friend, Jessica Carver aka “Jackie”, on March 25, 2024. “Jackie” battled an aggressive cancer, but it never stopped her from living life, loving her family and her friends. Many said she had nine lives but it was her will to live that helped her through these past 4 years. Her strength was an inspiration to anyone that had known her. Although she had challenging days she never complained but continued her day with a smile on her face and a will to live.
Jackie worked as a bank teller for many years, her last employment was with Bar Harbor Bank & Trust where she retired from.
She was a longtime member of the BPOE #244.
Jackie was predeceased by her husband Richard “Dick” Carver (2016), “together they loved to host the best gatherings at their home.” Mother Lyvonie M. Lynch – Graham (1979), and Father Robert John Graham (1987), Sister Jody Iwaniszek (2007), and Brother John R Graham III (2020), Ex-husband and friend; our father Michael J. Welch Sr. (2014). We believe that every one of these family members came to meet her and bring her home to be with them.
She was survived by her son Michael J. Welch JR., fiancé’ Nancy Gilmour, daughter Jodi-Ann Brecht, husband Timothy Brecht, two special granddaughters Breanna Witkos, husband Rodney Witkos, Lindsay Brecht, four great grandsons Jaelin, Jorge, Julius, Jose and two great granddaughters Laylah and Everlee. Her sister-in-law Nancy Graham, nephew Jeffrey Graham, and niece Terri Graham. A special niece Lynn Hodgins and two special friends that were always there to help; Karen and Sally.
A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated medical staff at Lafayette Family Cancer Center who gave loving support in every visit she had, and to Dr. Daniels, you were her strength during this journey.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 2pm to 4 pm. Friday, March 29, 2024 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, followed by a celebration of life at the Elks Lodge, 108 Odlin Rd., Bangor.
