BANGOR – Joan Eleanor Beyeler, 71, died at her home February 13, 2015. She was born July 11, 1943 in Bangor, daughter of Horace Stone and Mildred (Mersereau) Brown.
Joan was educated in the Bangor schools and was formerly employed as a crossing guard and counter clerk at the Union Street Laundry and Dry Cleaning. She will be remembered as a sweet, loving, caring and giving lady and will be very sadly missed.
Surviving are a son, Travis Harrington and his girlfriend, Kiki Bean; daughter, Marie (Harrington) Wardwell, her wife, Angel and Angel’s three sons, Noah Moreau, Taylor Mask and Trey Farrar; three granddaughters, Zoe and Hannah Harrington, both of New Hampshire and Meghan White of Bangor; sister, Natalie Boyle and her husband, Frank of Pennsylvania; brother, John Brown and his wife, Joanne of Texas; nieces and nephews; stepsons, Peter and John Beyeler. She was predeceased by her husband, Hans Beyeler and special friend, Eugene “Bud” Gray.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held 5 to 7 pm on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 10th at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com.
